More than objects, AFTER MOOD creates atmospheres: a spark of feeling, a shift in energy, a story unfolding in real time. Each piece is alive with possibility, playful yet intentional, designed not only for how we live today but for the moments that wait just beyond. It looks ahead, always carrying a sense of what is still to come.

AFTER MOOD — A Prelude
Saturday 16 May
4:00–5:30pm
Hector’s Deli
323 Lygon St
Carlton, Victoria
After Mood is an ongoing collaboration between studio gram and DANIEL-EMMA, a new brand shaped by a mutual interest in space, form, and atmosphere.
A Prelude is simply a reason to spend time together across the design community, an informal late-afternoon gathering.
Hosted by After Mood and Hector’s Deli, the Carlton space will hold a quiet presentation of new and in-progress work, including Hector’s furniture, Signal lights and Pipe Dream a champagne bucket.
These works will be folded into the environment, encountered in use, rather than positioned as a formal exhibition.
Please come share a sandwhich and a drink with us.
*This event is for one afternoon only

100 CHAIRS features the work of over 100 Australian creatives, studios, artists, architects and practices exploring the chair as a medium. The exhibition provides a platform for creatives at all career levels to present work collectively. Following on from Melbourne Design Week 2025’s landmark exhibition 100 LIGHTS, 100 CHAIRS imposes stricter requirements that the work must be both designed and made within the country.
